Arctic Insulation has been a member of the National Safety Council since 1985 and has received the following National Safety Council Awards:

Our Safety Policies and Practices Include:
  • Conducting all activities of our business in a safe manner which will protect our employees, other workers and the general public from injury.

  • Protective personal Equipment is provided for both Arctic employees and temporary workers.

  • Weekly Safety Audits are performed at each job site.
  • Weekly "Tool Box" talks are conducted at each job site.
  • Our goal is to have no work-related injuries, but when an injury does occur, we expect employees to report it immediately to those in charge.
  • When employees are aware of unsafe practices or unsafe equipment, they are instructed to inform their manager so that corrective action can be taken.
  • Use of, or being under the influence of alcohol or other drugs while on the job is absolutely prohibited.

Our Safety Committee

Arctic Insulation is in compliance with the OSHA Illness and Injury Prevention Program (I2P2) as well as the GHS-Hazcom 2012 program.

Our Safety Committee monitors First Report of Accidents, changes in the Workers' Experience Mod Rate, and OSHA reports to identify trends and needed training. The Safety Committee has an Incentive Program that rewards our crews for Safety compliance. The Director and the committee perform a monthly review of each crew. This review includes accident reports, training compliance, and job site inspections. This committee publishes a monthly newsletter that is distributed to all company employees.
